The University Governing Council has appointed Dr. Abubakar Y. Idu pictured above, the current Director, Advancement and Linkages Unit to be the school registrar.
The Management of KSU, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, staff and students regrets to inform the University Community and the general public, of the sudden and shocking demise of our Registrar and Secretary to the Governing Council, MR JOSEPH A. ZHIZHI. Which occurred on Saturday, 6th December, 2014 after a ghastly motor accident at Okene where went to attend a wedding.
This has since thrown the University community and beyond into confusion, unprecedented sorrow and unimaginable pain.
His death is a great and irreparable loss to the University, Kogi State and humanity at large in view of his exemplary life of humility, honesty, hard work and inspiring moral life demonstrated in his corporate service to humanity and God.
As we mourn the demise of this gentleman of principle, condolence register has been opened at his residence on campus and in front of the Senate Building for staff, students and the general public to pay their last respect. He will surely be missed by all. RIP our colleague, friend and father.

The KSU Alumni Exco, led by Mr Obaje (the President) paid a condolence visit on the Vice Chancellor, Prof. H.S. Isah, yesterday to sympathize with him over the death of Mr JA Zhizhi.
